Not long after Dr. Conrady Murray was charged with involuntary manslaughter today, those close to Michaej Jackson – whose death the physician is suspected to have been responsible for – reacted in outrage.
“He’s a monster,” said MJ’s mother, Katherine (pictured), after the arraignment.
Brian Oxman, the family’s veteran lawyer for Jackson’s father Joseph, was equally disgusted with the judge’s decision.
“This charge is a slap on the wrist,” he said. “There’s great disappointment here. [Conrad Murray] should’ve been charged with a higher degree of responsibility. What he did was reckless. It was a disregard for human life.”
Michael’s sister Latoya also chimed in, putting everything in a disturbing context:
“Michael was murdered and although he died at the hands of Dr. Conrad Murray, I believe Dr. Murray was a part of a much larger plan. There are other individuals involved and I will not rest and I will continue to fight until all of the proper individuals are brought forth and justice is served.”

Venturing out for a pampering session, Drew Barrymore was spotted visiting the Byron salon in Beverly Hills on Monday afternoon (February 8).
The “ET” actress was a bit shy as she exited the beauty parlor after getting her golden locks touched up, as she covered her face before hopping in her ride.
From there, things took a turn for the worse, as Miss Barrymore was on Beverly Blvd. and Doheny Dr. when she was rear-ended by a paparazzo at a stop light.
Quite upset over the situation, Drew proceeded to lay into the shutterbug upon exiting her car – with the two quickly exchanging information before Miss Barrymore proceeded to head back home.

Showing off her fabulous figure, Blake Lively was spotted lounging around on the balcony of her penthouse at a hotel in Miami on Sunday afternoon (February 7).
Clad in a black bikini, the Serena van der Woodsen actress was joined for the pre-Super Bowl relaxation session by “Gossip Girl” co-stars Chace Crawford and Penn Badgley.
According to a paparazzo onlooker, “Chace spent time looking out to the ocean while flexing and throwing quarters as far as he could while Blake affectionately sat on her boyfriend’s lap and appeared to be giving him lapdances in between showering him with kisses.
Following their hotel outing, the “Gossip Girl” gang got in a change of attire before heading off for the fun-filled Super Bowl festivities.

On a sandy field that included former NFL stars such as Eddie George and Desmond Howard, Marisa Miller walked away with the 2010 Celebrity Beach Bowl MVP earlier today.
The super model only caught one pass, but she looked like this while doing it:
The event, held annually the day before the Super Bowl, was coached by the quarterbacks of the NFL’s two New York franchises: Eli Manning and Mark Sanchez.
Who won? Men in attendance – as evidenced by Miller, Olivia Munn and the presence of numerous Playmates in the game – and teenage girls, as Taylor Lautner, Kellan Lutz and Chace Crawford all showed off their tight ends.

Fresh off of their engagement announcement, Kristen Bell and Dax Shepard were spotted side-by-side in Los Angeles, California on Saturday morning (February 6).
The loved up couple enjoyed breakfast with a friend at a local eatery before taking a stroll back to their car hand-in-hand.
With Dax having popped the question over the holidays, insiders tell that a family may be in the near future.
“Kristen is feeling really broody right now,” a source close to the star tells. “She keeps on at Dax about starting a family. They’ve agreed to wait until after they get wed.”

A John Edwards sex tape, made with former mistress (and current girlfriend?) Rielle Hunter actually exists.
No matter how many times we hear about this, no matter how many reliable sources confirm its existence, this will never cease to be a shocking development in an already-jaw dropping scandal.
Earlier today, Superior Court Judge Abraham Penn Jones reprimanded Andrew Young, the ex-Edwards aide that played a major role in covering up – for awhile, anyway – his boss’ affair with Hunter.
Jones ruled that Young has until Wednesday afternoon to hand over items “of a personal nature” that belonged to Edwards, according to The News and Observer. Young has said he’s storing the alleged video in a safe deposit box in Atlanta.
John Edwards: Fake family man. Real sex tape star.
“These items are to be produced and turned over to the court. The court will put them under lock and key – and under seal – until the lawsuit is resolved,” the judge said, referring to Hunter’s temporary restraining order against Young.
Meanwhile, the relationship between Edwards and Hunter is STILL going on, confirms the latter’s sister, Roxanne Marshall. She profited off it this week by telling Inside Edition:
“[Rielle] still believes they will be together. She is very happy. What mother wouldn’t be, especially after his denying [fatherhood]?”
It’s true. Just think of the role model Hunter’s daughter now has to look up to. She might grow up to be a politician… that uses campaign funds to cover up a child she produced when she cheated on her cancer-stricken spouse.
